Summary

In this program, we will explore our identity, hxstory, and issues that matter to us through the lens of Ethnic studies. Ethnic studies is an interdisciplinary study of race, ethnicity, and indigeneity with an emphasis on the experiences of people of color in the United States. Ethnic studies is also a practice of love and holistic humanity. We will learn from communities of color intergenerational worldviews, memories, experiences, identities, narratives, and voices by engaging in conversations, examining multiple forms of media, and engaging in experiential learning opportunities.
